I am a wildlife photographer and videographer based in Cornwall with a passion for capturing images and footage of our natural world
"Someone recently remarked to me that I must be a very patient person. We were talking about wildlife photography and how, even after hours, days, or even weeks of shooting, you can still come away empty-handed.
I nearly laughed at the comment; I count the seconds standing in line, never once finished a textbook in school, and get instantly frustrated by any stall in momentum. By all accounts, I shouldn't be a photographer.
Most of my shoots involve sitting perfectly still for hours in rugged conditions and even then I fail about 98% of the time.
So how does someone like me succeed at all? The answer is simple: there is nowhere I'd rather be than sitting in a blind on the edge of the forest or out on the sea ice, failing with a camera in hand. Nature is where I am meant to be. And once you find what feeds your soul, you just keep doing it until your path becomes clear." - Paul Nicklen
